Liquid Lipolysis Injections

Kybella/PCDC

Reduce fat without surgery! Medications such as Kybella and PCDC are injected in stubborn areas of fat such as under your chin, belly, buttocks, arms, and thighs to re-shape and contour.

Kybella, also known as deoxycholic acid, is an injectable treatment specifically approved for targeting submental fat. It dissolves fat in your body by attacking a fat cell’s membrane and liquifying them so the body can absorb them.

PCDC is a natural compound solution that contains a mixture of a phosphatidylcholine and sodium deoxycholate. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body, and when the synthetic version is introduced to fat cells, those cells become inflamed and hardened before being broken down by the body’s natural processes.

Benefits:

  • Reduced “double chin” appearance
  • Slimmer, more youthful-looking neck and jawline Increased self-confidence
  • Minimal recovery downtime
  • Long-lasting results
  • One to three sessions are required for optimal results spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

What is submental fullness?

Submental fullness is a gathering of excess fat beneath the chin, commonly known as “double chin.” It can be something you’ve had your whole life due to genetics, or start to appear as you get older or if you gain weight.

How many treatments will I need?

You may receive up to 6 treatment sessions, spaced at least 1 month apart. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 treatments.

How long will the results last?

PCDC and/or Kybella destroy fat cells. Once these fat cells are destroyed they no longer accumulate fat, therefore creating long lasting results. No further treatments are required.

What are the possible side effects?

The most common side effects are swelling, bruising, pain, numbness, redness and areas of hardness around the treatment area. More serious side effects are injection site problems such as bruising, hair loss, open sores (ulcers), and damage and tissue cell-death (necrosis) around the injection site.

Who is not a candidate?

Absolute contraindications if you are obese, pregnant or breastfeeding.

Who is a good candidate?

Generally, a good candidate is in relatively good health and concerned about excess fat in the submental region or other areas of the body with fat pockets.
