Microneedling

The most natural way to maintain your youthfulness.

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, helps improve the texture and appearance of your skin, pores, wrinkles and scars. Very fine, short, sterilized needles create numerous micro-punctures on your skin’s surface to activate your body’s natural healing response.

In return, this activates your body’s collagen production capabilities and skin cell regeneration. Microneedling can be enhanced with the administration of hyaluronic acid serums, vitamins, neuromodulators, plasma rich fibrin and exosomes.

  • An initial 3 treatments set a month apart is required, followed by maintenance treatment 2-3 sessions each year.
  • Results last for 12+ months.

What is microneedling and how does it work?

Microneedling is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that creates micro channels to stimulate the body's wound healing process. This process increases blood flow and creates new collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin.

What skin concerns can microneedling address?

Microneedling is effective for treating a variety of skin concerns, including acne scars, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, and enlarged pores.

How many sessions of microneedling are recommended for optimal results?

An initial 3 treatments set a month apart is required, followed by maintenance treatment 2-3 sessions each year. Results last for 12+ months.

Is microneedling painful?

Generally, microneedling is a well-tolerated treatment. Before the procedure, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. During the treatment, you may feel a mild sensation of pressure or tingling. Afterward, you may experience some redness and sensitivity, similar to a mild sunburn, which typically subsides within a few days.

Is there any downtime after microneedling?

There is minimal downtime associated with microneedling. You may experience redness immediately after the procedure, which usually resolves within 24-48 hours. Some patients may also notice slight peeling or dryness as the skin heals. It's important to follow post-care instructions provided by your aesthetician to optimize results and minimize any discomfort.
